About us
From a tobacco family and having grown up in a tobacco farming area in south of Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, tobacco is in Fladimir’s live.
He began his 25 year career in the tobacco industry as a Factory Trainee with Souza Cruz. Six years later he was offered a job with Standard Commercial Tobacco Company in Malawi as a Factory Operation Manager. Four years after he was moved to Transcontinental Leaf office in Santa Cruz, Brazil, as a Sales Manager for a year and a half. Factory Manager and Sales in Argentina was the next step with Standard Commercial for four years. In 2001 he comes back to Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil, as Sales Manager for Meridional de Tabacos.
Following the merger between Standard and Dimon he helped to establish AOI Sales Department working in both Sales and Sourcing tobacco in South America. The last two and a half years he was working at Premium Tabacos do Brasil as Operations Superintendent.
Working in three different countries on Factory, Blending, Quality Control and Sales he gained a wealth of experience which can now pass on to Virginia do Brasil Tabacos customers.

We will provide a service to our customers ranging from sourcing the right tobacco at competitive prices all the way through inspection, grading, processing, quality control and finally delivery of the finished product.
We will ensure that our communication and understanding of our customers needs are clear and carried out in a responsible manner.
As a small company with immense experience we offer a personal and extremely efficient service to all our customers and suppliers.
Our Goal
Our company will procure a full range of tobacco products. Our aim is to specialize with the sales of Brazilian and Argentina Flue-cured and Burley strips and by-products. We want to focus on customers and suppliers business.

Social Responsibility
Virginia do Brasil Tabacos is committed to a policy of social responsibility towards our customers, suppliers, partners, employees and the community within which our company works. We will work integrated vouching for development and growth.
We will direct each operating entity to implement, support and maintain the programs and policies like external environment, occupational environment, health and safety, fire prevention, first aid and medical examination, sub contractors control and vehicle monitoring.
Where possible Virginia do Brasil Tabacos will endeavor to ensure that good agricultural practices are maintained by growers and their association to ensure the integrity and sustainability of the environment. Issues such as seed assurance, IPM, IPM safely, soil and water protection, conservation of natural resources, reforestation, farmer training and bio diversity programs will be promoted and encouraged among all farmers.
We will work within the laws and regulations of each country. We will not employ child labour in violation of any local or international laws and shall work with our associates to ensure that this policy is strictly adhered to. We will ensure that all employees are made aware of and remain committed to upholding all our programs and policies.
